MNT-3065FM - Facility Maintenance Technician
Course Description
Originally designed to teach students how to maintain apartment complexes, graduates of the Facility Maintenance Technician class are now also maintaining schools, universities, industrial facilities, and large commercial properties. Course topics include: electrical system maintenance, heating/air conditioning system troubleshooting, plumbing, appliance repair, and basic carpentry. This class features a dual-style teaching approach comprising of both lecture and hands-on learning.Learner Outcomes
Upon satisfactory completion of the course, students will have gained the basic skills to look after and maintain a broad range of facilities--anything from commercial properties to their very own home.Notes
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Safety glasses are provided in class. Students, however, may choose to bring their own.
Certificates of Completion: Students will be able to generate and print a certificate of completion for the course, through their personal portal, upon satisfactory completion of the class.
