Course Description
Parlez-vous francais? Well, you could! Learn the French language and culture at the hands of an experienced college professor who lived and worked in Paris for thirty years. This class will emphasize pronunciation, vocabulary, reading skills, and some basic grammar. Students will also gain an insider's view on French culture, current events, and all the latest trends. This course is designed for everyone, from potential travelers abroad to lovers of all things French.Learner Outcomes
Upon satisfactory completion of the course, students will have built a solid language and culture knowledge foundation to engage in the basics of French communication and reading comprehension.Notes
Required Textbook(s): Easy French Step by Step by Myrna Bell Rochester (ISBN # 978-007145-3875). This text is available for purchase through the Forsyth Tech Bookstore.
Certificates of Completion: Students will be able to generate and print a certificate of completion for the course, through their personal portal, upon satisfactory completion of the class.
